FAQ
1
How is soy better?
Soy candles burn much cleaner than a paraffin candle. With no toxins, pollutant, or carcinogens its far less likely to upset any allergies. Soy candles burn much cooler than paraffin letting you have twice the duration of enjoyment without the soot from the petroleum based candles
2
Why does my new candle burn out after a few minutes?
Soy candles have a lower melting point thus the wick burns cooler. This causes the outside of the candle to not melt when at the top of the container.
At the first burn, hold the candle to its side as you light the wick; careful not to let the wax spill. As the wick ignites, hold your lighter or match out toward the interior edge of the jar and rotate the candle for about 15 to 20 seconds to warm the top of the wax.
3
why do i sometimes see soot in the jar?
We are able to provide a clean and slow burn from our woven cotton and paper wicks, however some items deserve user attention. For optimal decrease in soot always trim wick to 1/4" before lighting and never burn for more than two hours.
4
How long does a Hooked candle last?
As long as the user is adhering to the two hour rule, you'll be able to get roughly 90-100 hours from our 16oz, 40-50 hours from the 8oz, and each cube in a good warmer will last roughly a week(six cubes per pack)
